The Study
During this study, over 900 participants and their sunscreen habits were tracked over a period of four years.
Some patients were told to apply sunscreen each day, while others were given no instructions for sunscreen use.
Microtopography was used to evaluate the aging signs on the back of each patients’ hand to identify sun damage to the skin.
The Findings
At the end of the study, it was found that those who used sunscreen every day had a 24% less chance of showing common signs of aging.
